Orange County Museum of Art at South Coast Plaza
Formed through the merger of Laguna and Newport Harbor Art Museums in July 1996, OCMA continues and expands upon the artistic legacy of its two predecessor organizations. They were known throughout the United States for their innovative exhibitions, excellent publications, and effective programming. Exhibitions organized by OCMA’s curators are in demand and regularly are circulated to major cities across the country. Today, an exciting and ever-changing schedule of exhibitions is presented throughout the year at the two museum locations in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach.

Bowers Museum
Bowers Museum is a world-class, internationally-celebrated institution of art and culture that has organized some of the most culturally significant exhibits in history, including Secret World of Forbidden City, Dead Sea Scrolls, Treasures from the Roof of the World and Mummies from the British Museum (currently running through 2006). The Bowers is the first U.S. museum to sign a long-term agreement with The British Museum to showcase its most famous exhibitions.

John Wayne/Orange County Airport Arts Program
Since September 1990, John Wayne/Orange County has mounted more than fifty exhibitions to provide visitors with a memorable cultural experience by viewing thought-provoking artwork.
In 1996, the annual contest and exhibition became affiliated with the annual International Aviation Art Contest sponsored by the National Aeronautic Association in cooperation with the Federation Aeronautique Internationale.
Primary exhibit areas are located immediately opposite the departure gates at the end of the south(Gates 1- 4) and north (Gates 12- 14) concourses. Most works displayed are placed inside large, wall-mounted plexiglass cases specially designed for the John Wayne/Orange County Airport Arts Program.
